Welcome to Domesblissity.com! It's great to have you here. My name is Anne Murphy. I'm a married mother of 2 'tweenagers' living in Brisbane, the capital of the State of Queensland in Australia. Since I was a young girl, right through until now, I have learnt how to live frugally while having a rich life. I was taught by my Mother and Grandmother that you don't need a lot of money to have a rich life. They taught me how to cook and put food on the table for next to nothing. They taught me, from a young age, things like crochet, knitting, embroidery and other crafts that can be made into beautiful items to wear or for your home. They also taught me how to sew. I learnt to sew from a young age, starting with Barbie clothes on a hand operated sewing machine which led to sewing my own clothes when I was older and many other items for the home that saved me a lot of money. Even when I was working and earning a good income, these skills put me in good stead for living a rich life. It was a great test for me when I stopped working to have my children and we were reduced to one income and then when I became a single mother, unexpectedly back in 2012. My bills are always paid on time and there's always money leftover for the good experiences in life. I want to teach you how you can live this kind of life as well. It's all about knowing the difference between 'needs' and 'wants' and learning how to make do with what you already have or sourcing it for a lot cheaper.
